2 things everyone should have....

1. A front porch

2. A passport

( This of course is in addition to the best husband EVER!!!! and 3 great kids! As well as the finest extended family possible!)
But I digress...
The front porch is the place where home is. Life is great, stress melts away and the problems of world seem so far away. It is the place to sit and visit, contemplate life, contemplate the yard, and come to the conclusion that LIFE IS GRAND !!!

The passport...everyone should have one. It is the symbol of possibility. I can go anywhere! The world is waiting for me. I know I will go, I will travel, I have the power to see new things, experience new places, meet new people. It is all about the possibility. Countries, cultures, art, people...it's all waiting for me, and with my passport, I know I can go, I know I can....
And then come home to my front porch and ponder the world, from my own sanctuary.
To go, to come home. Life is Grand!!!

At this writing we are trying to plan our next trip. Where, when...we will go!!!

A top aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attended a CIA briefing in early 2003 in which it was made clear that waterboarding and other harsh techniques were being used in the interrogation of an alleged al-Qaeda operative, according to documents the CIA released to Congress on Thursday.
