Margot's 1st doll

Joanna had some fabric left over from a project in the baby's room. She also had embroidered a darling face meant to be part of a doll someday. I took the extra fabric home and the doll face as well and sewed up a little cutie for my sweet Margot.The doll is bigger than Margot right now, but soon she will hold it and cuddle it. The chenille fabric is so soft and cuddly. It also can be thrown into the washing machine. I sewed up a little chenille dress as well. Under the dress, on the body of the doll,over the place where the heart would be,is an applique that says " I love you". One day she will know how very much her grams loves her!
